Jaeyong Park is a curator, translator and writer based in Seoul. He majored in English Literature, Comparative Studies and Sociology, then received a master's degree in English Literature with his thesis on 19th century science fiction. In 2009, he started his career In Samuso: Space for Contemporary Art and Seoul Mediacity Biennale. He worked as a Project Manager of Art Team at the British Council Korea, and later worked as a curator at Ilmin Museum of Art and the 5th Anyang Public Art Project(APAP).

Park also worked as a producer of several exhibitions and individual works, including Minouk Lim's solo exhibition United Paradox(2015) in Portikus, Frankfurt. He was an assistant curator Chan-kyong Park's solo exhibition(2015) in Institute of International Visual Arts(INVIA), London.

He is running a contemporary art bookstore, Seoul Reading Room, which has a collection over 1,000 art books collected over past 10 years. He lectured at the department of art and design at Korea National University of Arts and Seoul National University of Science and Technology. He has contributed to several journals both inside and outside of Korea, and translated essays in arts, humanities, and films.
