CONNECT, BTS is a global initiative directed by Daehyung Lee in collaboration with 22 contemporary artists from five countries around the world, interpreting BTS’s philosophy of positive affirmation on diversity into contemporary visual language.

Curators of CONNECT, BTS joined the project with a collective question on expansion of the arts. Art is a treasure island of history, philosophy, and ideas but is left undiscovered when deserted as a remote island. For that reason, CONNECT, BTS provided an opportunity to expand the value of art in conjunction with BTS’s pursuit for values of diversity while uplifting contemporary art to the public sphere.
